The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.
SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed regarding the higher number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
